Why I Love Photographing Women Over 50

Women over 50 are overcomers, by this point in their lives, they are a survivor of some hardship.  They have earned the celebration that I want to give them in my studio and later with the Gala.  Women over 50 have earned the confidence that they display.  You want to be encouraged?  Speak to a woman over 50, she will gladly share the wisdom that has allowed her to be victorious.  I want to show these women for the awesome ladies that they are. That is why I do The Portrait Experience, 50 over 50. 

Another reason why I desire to photograph Women over 50, is that their children, grandchildren and great children need these portraits.  Our Mother is the wind underneath our wings as their children, regardless of our age.  She has listened to us, encouraged us, helped us get up after a fall.  We, as her daughters, sons, and later grandkids, need these portraits so that we can look !at them and feel that lift at any time.  Portraits displayed in the family home is the best way to always be there for your family.  The giclee prints are heirloom quality, made to last and be passed on for generations.

Let me show you just how beautiful you are.  It’s your smile, the sparkle in your eyes, your humor, the strength that defines you.  I want to hear your stories.  This can happen while my awesome hair and makeup artist is getting you ready for the camera.  This is the Portrait Experience, you will look beautiful, feel beautiful, be posed to your fingertips, and feel like the Gorgeous Woman that you truly are.   Then we celebrate more with the Gala, letting you meet all the other awesome ladies, and share your stories with one another.  We are building a tribe of Overcomers.  Women over 50, You are Amazing!
